Public procurement in Scotland has changed significantly over the last 10 years after the McClelland Report: 'Review of Public Procurement in Scotland' paved the way for procurement reform. APUC continues to operate as the key link point between Universities and Colleges and the Scottish Government.

The Development and Sustainability team works with the Scottish Government and represents APUC at various Best Practice, Development and Policy forums, and represents the interests of the client community whilst taking a lead role in procurement reform implementation within the HE and FE sectors.
